2nd International Convention at IIT M, Chennai from 8th June 2014.

SPIC MACAY is organising its 2nd International Convention at Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IIT-M), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India; from 8th to 14th June 2014. The Convention would be attended by about 1500 delegates from all over the country and abroad, to experience the abstract, inspiring, subtlety and mysticism through the intangible cultural heritage. We would be having performances of more than 50 renowned artistes from different parts of the country.

Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Honorable President of India; would be inaugurating the Convention on 8th June 2014 at 5.30 pm.

Some of the artistes featuring in the Convention are Dr. M Balamuralikrishna (Carnatic Vocal), Ustad Amjad Ali Khan (Sarod), Prof. T. N. Krishnan (Carnatic Violin), Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia (Flute), Begum Parveen Sultana (Hindustani Vocal), Vidwan T.V.Sankaranarayanan (Carnatic Vocal)  and many more. Several inspiring gurus would be conducting the workshops and intensives.

The lodging and boarding would be arranged by SPIC MACAY without any charge for the confirmed registrants.
